Coco's Baked Eggs with Chorizo

“Do you always look for the longest day of the year and then miss it?” asked The Great Gatsby’s Daisy. Well there’ll be no missing it this year, not if you choose to mark the day by partaking in Bon Appétit’s Greenpoint Grub Crawl which, betwixt the hours of 11.30am-5pm, will take punters on a tour of some of the most exciting foody hotspots in the area.

1) Brunch, cocktails and live jazz at Greenpointers’ brunching favorite Coco.

3) A chance to unwind on Glasserie’s beautiful back patio whilst bar master Matt Fogarty demos a brand new cocktail and Chef Tim Meyers butchers a whole rabbit, explaining the process as he goes.

4 ) A hearty stroll down to Manhattan Inn for a good ole’ fashioned crab boil accompanied by live piano. The day before the crawl, Chef Felipe will be heading down to Maryland to fill his truck with fresh blue crabs and will give guests an informal tutorial on how to break down and enjoy the crab.

5) Finally, the lovely Alameda will showcase their emphasis on local produce. Co-owner Nick Padilla and supplier Annie Novak from the Eagle Street Rooftop farm, will speak about how they work from seed to table.
