I’m sure that all the other vegans in hood already know, but Papacitos has a vegan menu and can “vegan-ize” anything else. I am not a vegan, but I accidentally ordered the vegan breakfast burrito once and LOVED it! My friend, Sheryl, tells me that the vegan burrito at El Torro is also tasty ( and only $6) and the vegan sandwiches at Urban Rustic and Lollipop are worth your tastebuds.
Umm….the noodle kitchen at No Name Bar is in the basement, not the backyard.
I thinks that the No Name Bar (597 Manhattan Ave) is not just super groovy to have “no name” but the food is excellent here. I broke down on my vespa motorcycle in Brooklyn and was waiting for “andrewtrucker” to haul (tow ) my scooter to there facility to fix my flat tire. Yep and I ended up here.So whilst on my wait I stopped in for some chow chow .I ended up being happy cus Im strict vegan and was able to chow down some before my main corse a flat tire repair.ll known.Who knew? great .ps thanks andrewtrucker for giving me 35 minutes to eat before towing my motorcycle . gave me a chance to find a new place to eat.
