Staff Meal at Delilah’s Steaks (3/17)

Our local Philly Cheesesteak joint Delilah’s Steaks is hosting a pop-up 6 course dinner on Monday March 17th. Shop owner Tommy Ferrick along with his friend Robert Flaherty, who is a cook at Romans (Andrew Tarlow’s italian restaurant in Fort Greene) promise delicious food and (thank God) no green beer. There will be 3 seatings of 20 guests, 6:00pm, 8:30pm and 11pm. It’s $40 and includes wine. Only the Early Bird slot is still available. Get some.

SALO Pop-Up Video!

Our wonderful Yana hosted a Salo Pop-Up Dinner at Sindicato Cocineros in Greenpoint on Monday to raise money for typhoon disaster relief and Bedford and Bowery made this short video about it – paying special attention to the pig hearts that were served. Mind the after school special narration and enjoy gorgeous Yana and her beautifully prepared Philippino food! You may also recognize a lot of Greenpointers in the video…PETER!

CALLING ALL POTTERS!!!

On Sunday 11/17/13 from 3-5pm at EAT(124 Meserole St) Greenpointers is organizing our Annual Soup Bowl Fundraiser and we need your soup bowls!

Diners buy a bowl, get a bowl of soup from The Splendid Spoon and a Brooklyn Brewery Beer for $25 – with all proceeds donated to Greenpoint Soup Kitchen!

Recap: Sunday Supper #6 with Chef Brenna White at Good Yoga

It was a wonderful evening at Good Yoga (73 Calyer St) for Sunday Supper #6 with Chef Brenna White of Honey and Fig. The space was perfect for seating and serving such a large supper and the food was perfectly prepared. The cocktails were generously donated and expertly prepared by Brooklyn Gin. Plus we had beer from Brooklyn Brewery!

Sunday Supper # 9 @ The One Well – Paleo Vegan Menu Announced (9/8) – SOLD OUT

We are very excited to have Kerry Jones as our chef for Sunday Supper #9 on September 8, 2013 from 7-9pm at her own shop The One Well (165 Greenpoint Ave). Kerry Jones not only owns and curates The One Well but she has also worked as a private chef for the last several years.

This three-course meal will be dairy-free, grain-free, and animal-free, utilizing the freshest local and seasonal vegetables, fruits, and herbs, to highlight the best that late Summer has to offer and will include a cocktail from The Noble Experiment. Plus you can browse all the wonderfully curated artwork and locally made goods she features in the shop.
