Brooklyn Winery, currently located in Williamsburg at 213 North 8th Street, will unveil a new and improved space in early 2023. The new Brooklyn Winery will be located nearby at 61 Guernsey Street, next to the beer garden Spritzenhaus 33 and one block from McCarren Park.

At Brooklyn Winery, winemaker Conor McCormack produces small batch wines in the middle of North Brooklyn. The urban winery offers tastings, tours, a wine club, plus a restaurant and wine bar with seasonal foods menus to complement the wines.

Brooklyn Winery also offers a variety of private events including weddings, rehearsal dinners, corporate and team-building functions, and holiday parties.

The new location will be larger and still offer the same concept, including a winery, restaurant, and event space.

“The new location will offer more space and allow us to optimize operations and ultimately offer an even better guest experience,” said Meaghan Webster, a marketing manager for First batch Hospitality which also has wineries in Chicago and Washington D.C.

Webster told Greenpointers that Brooklyn Winery’s new event space will accommodate up to 175 guests. The updated space will offer 15 foot high ceilings, lush greenery, and a private wedding suite.

Renderings show a room filled with wine barrels enclosed by glass that will be used as a backdrop for wedding ceremonies and cocktail hours. The event space will be flexible and can be arranged to accommodate meetings, team-building activities, and holiday parties just like the current location.

Webster also confirmed that Brooklyn Winery’s location on North 8th Street will remain open until the new location on Guernsey Street is ready to welcome guests.
