Local bakery Ovenly’s second Greenpoint space at 154 Franklin St. is closing Thursday with a moving sale. Known as Studio ONE54, the storefront opened two years ago and served as a setting for baking classes, a test kitchen, and a home for seasonal pop-up shops.
“With a heavy heart, we are saying goodbye and moving out of Ovenly Studio One54. The memories made here with our Brooklyn community will be cherished by our team forever and we are so grateful to have had the opportunity to invite you in over the years,” Ovenly announced on social media this week. “From pop-up shops to birthday parties, baking classes and bridal showers, this space has been transformed to bring people together over delicious treats time over time.”
Ovenly temporarily closed their four NYC locations last winter during NY’s coronavirus pause and has since resumed selling their famous cookies and cakes from their Greenpoint, Williamsburg and Park Slope shops (the Midtown Manhattan location remains closed).
Prior to saying goodbye to the Franklin Street space for good, Ovenly is hosting a moving sale on Thursday from 2 p.m. – 6 p.m. Available items include pie and cake plates, office supplies, vintage furniture, desk chairs and filing cabinets.
