A note from the North Brooklyn Chamber of Commerce’s Environmental Initiatives Committee:
Have you stocked up on reusable bags to take the place of single use plastic bags yet? If so, you’re already ahead of the legislative ban on single use plastic bags.
But you’re not done. Brooklyn Daily Eagle recently reported about the pollution caused by single use plastic bottles in NY. The North Brooklyn Chamber and many important environmental organizations want you to keep plastic bottles out of the waste stream and out of our waterways.
As always, the Environmental Initiatives Committee would like to hear from you. Contact us at [email protected] with any questions, issues, or to receive updates on upcoming programs and events.
