Our Winter Candyland Holiday market is just a few days away and we can’t wait for you to join us and reel in 2017 on a sugary high note along with our carefully curated 60+ vendors.

From local businesses to artisans and food purveyors, you can expect some familiar faces and new, hawking their latest creations while you shop, sip, hang out with friends and neighbors in one of the most beautiful spaces in Brooklyn. Here are more deets on what’s in store for the day and RSVP to stay updated!

We are so excited about the items we expect to see from ALL of our vendors but to whet your appetite for the season of unique gift giving, here are seven not to be missed.


Morphologically
As a Holistic Aromatherapist, Melissa focuses on blending scents with sacred wood essences. Based on ancient roots, the scents create a healing, energetic space full of illumination and wisdom. Everything offered at her table is done with reverence and respect to nature. 100% pure essential oils, ethically sourced, and completely synthetic free, it connects you to the earth and the naturally mystical all around. Create some ethereal Earth Magic to center yourself, or help a loved one gain more balance in their lives with these candles.

Queen Majesty Hot Sauce
Born with a penchant for hot sauce, Erika makes hot sauce — really, really good hot sauce — without the additives of the store bought kind. Their sauces are 100% vegan, gluten free and have no sugar added or unnatural preservatives. Flavor comes with the heat by hand selected ingredients (which are organic and local as much as possible). The hot sauce is made by hand every week in a commercial kitchen located on an industrious block in Queens, NYC. You can even catch her creations on TV, on Seasons 3 & 4 of Hot Ones.

Leungdesigns
Leungdesigns creates modern jewelry and accessories with a simplicity of design and with an optimal balance of materials and color. Greatly influenced by great design and art, leungdesigns features minimalist and fluid elements. The founder and designer, Nancy, uses her education within design manufacturing to produce superbly executed, wearable, pieces of art that are both timeless and one of a kind. Form does follow function, but as the German designer, Hartmut Esslinger put it, ‘form should follow emotion’. WOOPS! Bakeshop

Woops! Bakeshop sells French macaroons, artisan pastries, sandwiches, barista style coffee, tea & drinks, and beer & wine. Offering free wi-fi in a chic brick-and-mortal location at 120 Norman Avenue in Greenpoint, it’s a great spot to get work done while getting a sugar fix. Be sure to stop by WOOPS! at their Candyland Market table to check out their new flavors. Quick tip: a Holiday box of macaroons is a great gift for anyone on your list who’s got your stumped with what to buy. Or try some fun flavors for yourself — nutella or peanut butter & jelly are always winners.

Positive Times
What we wear directly affects how we feel, how we perceive ourselves, and how we project ourselves to others. We think not just with our minds, but with our bodies as well. Dressing with intention is a great way to check in with ourselves every morning and start each day with purposeful self expression. Positive Times is designed and hand-crafted by Danielle & Jami in their Brooklyn studio. Their designs are influenced by the powerful force of confident women, as well as by the connection of mind, body and earth. The jewelry incorporates materials and messages meant to evoke strength, positivity, and healing. Each piece is handmade with these core values in mind.

Brooklyn Groove
Olga of Brooklyn Groove, as in Brooklyn Groove that just closed on Nassau Ave, is now selling her own line of all-natural skin care, soap and body products. Her extensive knowledge of plants, herbs, and oils mixed with her experience in the industry makes her a miracle worker of the all-natural skin care variety. Just like at her former brick and mortal store, she offers the highest quality products with hard to find herbs and extracts. As her mission has always been to give her customers friendly instructions and tools on how to care for themselves using the purest means, stop by her table to pick her brain. While there, check out her newest creations, of which key ingredients include nettle, spirulina, turmeric, rosemary, poppy seeds and lavender. Stay healthy, stay natural!
