10.10.13 Mixtape // Tica Douglas

Gracie Pizzo ©Lo-fi singer-songwriter Tica Douglas casts a soft, soothing spell over this week’s playlist. The collection—like her own aural work—balances the sweet with the bitter. And, well, that’s life, isn’t it? Judge for yourself after the jump.

Douglas says about her mix:

These are some of my newest favorites. Eleven months outta the year I’m stationed on Nassau Avenue, but for the hottest one, I’m at home in Maine. These songs came with me and kept me company up there in August.

Watch your neighbor tear it up Friday, Oct. 18 at the KTMSGR Official CMJ Showcase at Sullivan Hall. Double King joins the bill. More info here.
