On Saturday 3/8, venture over to Daddy’s (435 Graham Avenue) for a pop-up shop curated by Debbie Tuch, creator of the jewelry line Glitterlimes. Shoppers can find artisanal goods such as Muffy Brandt printed leggings and tops, Tim Harrington (of Les Savy Fav) illustrations, Andrew Salome knits, Jena Derman ceramics, Julie Van Such digital print scarves, Junior Town Knits hand-dyed yarn straight from Los Angeles, Wowch clothing, and of course, Glitterlimes.
DJ Knife Fight will be spinning pre-Beatles rock and there will be drinks on hand.
Winden Jewelry is off the chain. Greenpoint based designer Rebecca Mapes crafts pieces with delicate but tongue-in-cheek enthusiasms. Punchy diamond lips and tiny little ear studs, babe and sis 90s throwback name plate necklaces give a carefree and off-beat vibe. (Prices range from $55-$1,199).

Local goods online shop Brooklyn Makers Shop is turning 1 this month! They’ll be celebrating with us at our Valentine’s Day Market on Sunday, February 9th. Here’s a sample of some of the awesome goods you’ll find there, PLUS a chance at a $100 gift card: Continue reading →

Possibly the only thing as breathtaking as the denizens of the deep is the cosmos. A lot of my work is very graphic and literal (printed images) but for my pieces which are not, I draw a lot of inspiration from the color patterns and combinations that these animals are all fitted with by nature.
Even baby clothing in Brooklyn has to have a vintage look! Hanky Blanky, our featured Valentine’s Market vendor, uses vintage handkerchiefs, fabric & trims from her collections of over 20 years of antique and flea market finds to pattern baby blankets, infant wear and bibs. And much of these prints come right out of the garden. Continue reading →
