Line & Label (568 Manhattan Ave) create many of their unique, high-quality fashion and accessory products by hand in their Greenpoint shop and are adding a new line of jewelry to their repertoire, from in house by designer and owner Kate O’Reilly with a launch party tonight.
For years, Line & Label has carried Kate’s clothing designs, leather bags, and dream catchers alongside a thoughtful selection of curated products. With her background working for high end clothing designers, she brings a high-fashion sensibility with a very local touch (but without the steep price tags.)
That’s why we are very excited that after a year of thinking about creating a jewelry line, Line & Label is officially launching it and celebrating tonight!
“I have been practicing different techniques; soldering, casting, and stone setting and am excited to debut the beautiful new additions to the shop. As a designer, it felt like a natural progression,” O’Reilly.
Be the first to check out their new jewelry collection. There will also be readings by Stefanie for the launch of the Moon Void Tarot book.
This Memorial Day, ditch the big chain stores and shop local! Greenpoint has so many awesome, locally-owned businesses you can support. From May 23-27, get 30% off (or more) when you pay with the Cinch app at places like:

Manhattan Avenue’s hip boutique Line & Label held a successful first Dreamcatchers Workshop at the end of last month, and we stalked around the work table to snap pics of our local DIY lovers making their own beautiful creations.
For $50, attendees were given instructions and a wide array of materials to experiment with including leather, feathers, beads and fringe. The resulting dreamcatchers varied in color, size and decoration. “We were truly impressed with everyone’s finished piece, and so happy everyone finished in time too,” says founder Kate O’Riley on the boutique’s website.

Open since June, Kate O’Riley’s store Line & Label, sandwiched between Fox and Fawn Vintage and Enid’s, is a welcome addition to the neighborhood.
The store’s light and airy (restrained bohemian) aesthetic is reflected in the lines O’Riley carries: Harvey Faircloth, an American brand that she prizes for their technical design, La Mont Saint Michel, which O’Riley decribes as easy sportswear, and Habitual, a denim line based out of L.A.
