Event popup ThisPlace regularly hosts drink n draws all over North Brooklyn. The next one is coming up on June 26 at Dobbin St, from 630-9pm. Tickets are $25 and include rosé, but you should bring your own drawing supplies. Since this is happening at sunset, you can bet the light will be magical so you might want to bring colored pencils or pastels. Greenpoint Figure Drawing | 67 West St #303 (Big Object Studio) | Fridays at 7pm
Greenpoint Figure Drawing is a Meetup group that hosts weekly drink n draws, for $15. “In each 3-hr session, we will draw from a live model, beginning with quick poses to warm up, and then gradually extend the pose length to a final 1 hour pose to finish the evening.” The sessions are moderated by two stop motion visual artists. So… Brooklyn’s First Vine Film Fest Happened

The Vine Film Fest organizers address the capacity crowd at Bat Haus in Bushwick

The Vine Film Festival, a “celebration of filmmaking of all sizes,” took place Saturday, Nov. 9th, at Bat Haus Coworking Space in Bushwick. The festival, in its inaugural year, is a grassroots project lead by Weird Carbs in association with BABE, Brooklyn’s All Bush Ensemble. Presentation Party Night’s 3rd Year Anniversary! Sunday (8/18)

What?! Free beer! Free food! Screen printing!

This Sunday, August 18th from 7-11pm, an ongoing lecture series, Presentation Party Night  – will be celebrating its 3 year anniversary at the Bat Haus (279 Starr St) in Bushwick, Brooklyn. It was started by Dan Dreke with the help of a team of designers and artists from Brooklyn.

One Sunday a month, individuals from all walks of life come together to give presentations covering various topics on their interests and areas of expertise. Enjoy good eats provided by some of the hot food spots in Brooklyn and wash it down with beer provided by the Brooklyn Brewery. Did I mention it is all free?! You are also welcome to bring your own beer and snacks! To make things even more awesome, they are doing screen printing by Bushwick Print Labs. Bring whatever you want and they will slap on one of their PPN designs for you!
