What a timely post! Now that baseball season is back in full swing and I am having a hard time getting thru the SNY Mets games without a tear or two (kidding….not really), I have come to look forward to the rapport between the gents who narrate these games, including. I remember your original post re) the Red Star run-in and oh I how i envied you so! I’d love to go to this one but it might be more than I could afford, despite the lovely cause. Maybe the cocktail part. Last year we saw Ronnie speak about his book and he signed everyone’s copies afterwards–he was an entertaining speaker and super nice, as I’m sure you know!
