  1. What a joke. Ninety percent of the affordable small business, useful shops, and mom & pop stores in Greenpoint have already been wiped out by the rampant gentrification of our neighborhood- as fostered by the real estate industry puppets named Bloomberg, Adams (and now wanna-be Mayor Cuomo). The few that are left certainly deserve our support …amid the slew of unaffordable shops that cater to the wealthy and the many empty storefronts of greedy landlords who demand more, more and more in rent.
