An Aviation Gin box truck swiped two parked cars and crashed into an apartment building at 165 Russell St. around 3:30 a.m. this morning, multiple news outlets are reporting. No one was seriously injured during the incident.
The driver explained that he swerved when he spotted a cat in the road and lost control of the vehicle, according to News12 Brooklyn.

The Dept. of Buildings is now inspecting the structural integrity of the damaged building and tenants were offered help with relocating by the American Red Cross, NY1 reports.
