This weekend, it’s time to get your art on (and booze on). Greenpoint Gallery Night is back again this Friday (3/18) from 7-10pm. You’ll be able to meet the artists, admire their artwork and check out their work spaces to find out more about their process.

37 Greenpoint Ave
Booklyn helps artists document, exhibit and distribute their artwork and hosts programs involving contemporary artists’ publications and works on paper. Currently Booklyn is showing Hard to Place, an emotional, immersive and nostalgic journey through the lifetime of a man with a storied past, from artist Qiana Mestrich. The exhibit features photography, documents and found objects.
78 Greenpoint Ave
Brouwerij Lane is a rad little beer shop that doubles as a friendly neighborhood watering hole. They’ve always got something tasty on tap with 19 rotating draft lines, and 150 seasonal and rare bottles. You’d be missing out if you didn’t make this a stop on the crawl.
67 West St
Calico is a petite exhibition space tucked away on the second floor of the historic Greenpoint Terminal Warehouse. Right now they’re showing Michael Hambouz: Pretty in Pink, an exhibit of 2D paintings, 3D sculptural lenticular paintings, cut paper collage and video. If Maya Hayuk and Mondrian had a geometric neon baby, it might resemble one of Hambouz’s paintings.
1205 Manhattan Ave
Adjacent to the communal ceramic studios of Clay Space, Gallery 1205 is an independent gallery showing ceramic work, paintings and mixed media. Friday night they’re opening in like a lion/out like a lamb.
153 Franklin St
Dandelion is the cutest wine shop on Franklin Avenue, and they know their stuff. Stop in during your art crawl and they’ll school you with some tasty vino.
67 West St
Another art stop inside the historic Greenpoint Terminal Warehouse, the gallery is dedicated to showing emerging and mid-career artists. They’ve always got something cool in rotation.
252 Java St
At the Quay Quinn Wolf | inanimate inflorescence opening, contemplate the essentials of human existence: emotionality, conflict, and mortality. Wolf’s work is both abstract and affecting.
Kayrock Screenprinting
1205 Manhattan Ave
Artist Karl Larocca a.k.a. Kayrock, created this screen printing studio in 1998, specializing in hand-printed fine art editions, posters, cards, books, t-shirts, tote bags, graphic design and custom projects. During gallery night you’re invited to take a peek behind the scenes and see how these folks are truly masters of their craft.
61 Greenpoint Ave
Bits of odd found fabrics, embroidery and ephemera make up China Marks’s current exhibit at Owen James, Not Quite Human. The works, compared to Terry Gilliam’s work for Monty Python, feature characters immersed in fantasy landscapes with humorous text stitched alongside.
Simuvac Projects
99 Norman Ave
Simuvac’s latest exhibit Crazy Bitch by New York artist Judith Braun is definitely Instagram-worthy, bold, startling and present. A few of Braun’s previous shows were titled “Read My Pussy” and “The Sacred Order Of The Burning Bush,” so there’s no room for sublety in her body of work.

Yashar Gallery at Brooklyn Art Studios presents Works On Paper Out Of Other Material, featuring the sculptures of artists Stephen Eakin, Ben Garthus and Chris Held.
