• Imaginary Landscapes @ Coral (154 Huron) Opening Reception 7-10pm, a group exhibition that brings together the work of Alessandro Zuek Simonetti, Andrew Gosselin, Cameron Michel and Enrico Savi. The artists in the exhibition dissolve the artificial boundaries of conventional form, escape the cliches of familiarity, and make each experience a discovery of detail and destination.

• OCD Lecture Series’ Notes from the Underground: Repurposing NYC’s adscape with Posterboy @ Pete’s Candy Store (709 Lorimer) 7:30pm, FREE, armed with nothing more than razor blades and Metrocards, the street-art collective  known as “Poster Boy” peels back the layers of NYC Subway ads to create eye-popping collages that turn the medium and its message on its head. A founding member will be on hand to discuss the process and politics.

TUESDAY 12/13
