Tucked away in the Garden Spot of Greenpoint (144 Driggs Ave ), L.A.B. Brooklyn will be opening their doors this weekend (4/11) with a wide variety of local artisan goods and fine art. Expect an eclectic mix of goods, everything from housewares to handmade luxury bags made by veteran craftsmen as well as new comers launching their lines this spring. 

For those looking not just to shop but to create L.A.B. Brooklyn will host an array of workshops starting this May. L.A.B. Brooklyn will offer unconventional art classes for all ages uniquely designed to encourage narrative, exploration of materials, and collaboration. While crafts classes are designed to teach a specific skill such as knitting, making jewelry, candles, soaps, flower arranging, etc. Registration online and by phone will open April 11th but stop by in person this weekend and enjoy refreshments and sweets plus a very special trunk show by Mary Mendez Collection.
