I have no idea where this will lead us, but I have a definite feeling it will be a place both wonderful and strange. If you’re a fan of filmmaker and master of weirdness David Lynch, you are probably obsessed with his most famous of works, (duh, Twin Peaks) which has recently been rebooted on Showtime. And, if you’re a fan, you’ll probably want to check out this flash tat event at Three Kings (572 Manhattan Ave) next Thursday! Tattoo artist Amanda Rodriguez is hosting a special Twin Peaks flash day from 12pm-10pm, where you can get designs ranging from The Bang Bang Bar’s logo (omg!) to an adorable log that reads “ASK IT” underneath to a One Eyed Jacks poker chip. You can peep the available designs on Amanda’s Insta account. Prices range from $100-450, and if you want to reserve a space in line, there’s a $50 deposit required. I’m not one to push TV onto anyone. I have a secret: I’ve never watched one episode of Breaking Bad (I know!) but I’m not ashamed of it.
That being said, if you’ve never watched Twin Peaks, shame on YOU for depriving yourself of the mind melting music, bizarrely addictive plot and one of the best characters ever invented: Agent Dale Cooper.
If you have watched Twin Peaks, then you know how anti-social you can become, sitting on the couch watching episode after episode, with greasy hair and crumbs all over your shirt. You don’t have to be alone!
The Exley’s (1 Jackson St) Twin Peak’s Tuesdays begins tonight and there will be donuts! (obviously) but there will also be boozey coffee, performances by The Pink Room: David Lynch Burlesque, trivia, plus new cocktails each week.

My favorite thing to do is to go watch a movie that I never heard of so I have zero expectations and hopefully will be blow away. I’ve heard of Silent Drape Runners before, but until Jon and I just finished the entire Twin Peaks series (on Netflix) I didn’t know what it was referring to.
It’s supposed to be an amazing show tonight at The Bell House in Gowanus, so let’s leave it at that. I specifically am not reading the stellar reviews. I want it all to be a big surprise, like how Twin Peaks ended. If you haven’t spent two weeks of your life watching the entire series of Twin Peaks, do that – I promise that it will be time worth spent. I will let you know how it goes tonight.
