A public forum on the Greenpoint Library (107 Norman Ave.) will take place tonight at the Pencil Factory building (61 Greenpoint Ave, 6th floor) at 7 p.m.
The note posted on the Brooklyn Public Library’s website regarding tonight’s meeting reads:
Do you have ideas for programming you would like to see at the coming Greenpoint Library & Environmental Education Center? Want to help Greenpoint Library continue to grow? If you love your local library and want to be more involved, then this is the place for you!
Come by to hear updates on the construction progress, get information on what BPL is doing in the neighborhood before the Fall 2019 opening, and learn how to join the Friends of Greenpoint Library.
The Friends of Greenpoint Library hosted a similar meeting last April and the planned opening is scheduled for this fall. Find out more on the construction of the library and the redesign here.
