The luncheon is to help to raise funds, sustain and expand the program while honoring three local leaders: Brooklyn Borough President Eric Adams, Brooklyn Chamber of Commerce co-chair Ana Oliveira and restauranteur Josh Cohen.

The NBA served over 33,000 meals in 2018 with the help of over 250 volunteers while developing their internship program and a farmer partnership program to ensure the freshest ingredients are available.
