Black Tap Takeover at Humboldt & Jackson (4/8)

This Saturday, Humboldt & Jackson (434 Humboldt St.) brings us another epic takeover. They are welcoming the Instagram-famous Black Tap, yes, the same people behind those outrageous milkshake creations. Humboldt & Jackson is, of course, one of our neighborhood favorites, having been open for about 3 years and a generous host of many special events. The party starts tomorrow at 2 pm and we’ve know what they’ll be serving up.

If you’ve ever been to Black Tap in the city, you’ll know it’s typical American burger joint food. They’ve got an impressive burger menu, burger salads (yes, salads with burgers in them), wings, and assorted sides like fries, onions rings, and guacamole. It’s the “crazy” shakes that made them famous. There’s only five on the menu, but these ginormous 1,000 calorie+ desserts are probably known throughout the Instagram-loving world.

Humboldt & Jackson though won’t have that full menu. For the burgers, they will only be serving up the All-American Burger, the Vegan Burger (black bean patty, vegan mayo, pickled onions, salsa verde & cilantro), and the Greg Norman Burger (Wagyu beef, buttermilk-dill sauce, blue cheese & arugula). For the shakes, they’ll have the Cookie Shake (vanilla frosted rim with cookie crumbles topped with a ‘cookiewich’, crumbled cookies, chocolate chips, whipped cream & chocolate drizzle); the Brooklyn Blackout (chocolate frosted rim with mini chocolate chips topped with a chocolate brownie, chocolate drizzle & whipped cream); and something called the Cookies n’ Cream Supreme.

So, if you’ve ever wanted to try Black Tap’s offerings, but hate the idea of standing in line with a bunch of Instagrammers, here’s your chance!

Humboldt & Jackson is located at 434 Humboldt Street. The Black Tap Takeover starts at 2 pm, Saturday the 8th, and goes until 11 pm or when everything is sold out.
