Brooklyn Night Bazaar is hoping to move back to familiar stomping grounds after its brief respite at the beach last summer. The owner is currently looking to secure a liquor license at 144 Greenpoint Ave, otherwise known as the shiny black catering hall of former Polonaise Terrace fame.

Friends of Bushwick Inlet Park is making a strong showing at the Greenpoint Film Festival next Thursday. A series of the group’s protest films will air at the Wythe Hotel on March 17 at 8 p.m.

Another slashing? This time a cabbie was cut in the forehead during a mugging that took place on North 5th and Wythe last Thursday. According to ABC, there’s been a 22.1% increase in slashings and stabbings in 2016 so far.
