After 2 months of recovery from a devastating fire accident, Greenpoint Gallery (390 McGuinness Blvd) is ready to resume their art shows. Tomorrow on Friday, March 4th at 8pm, they will be holding their first show of the year. The Fire Relief Salon Show will be a one night juried event where one exhibited artist has the chance to win $200. Open call submissions go until 11pm tonight for anyone interested in submitting pieces for the show.

Although Greenpoint Gallery is in good-enough shape to reopen, the fire incident still left the space irreversibly depleted of its primary resources – such as gallery equipment, art supplies, computers, documents, and over 20 musical instruments used to teach at-risk teens from the St. Nicks Alliance Work program. Please help Greenpoint Gallery recover fully by taking the time to visit their gofundme.com page. Anyone interested in celebrating the gallery’s reopening can attend the art show tomorrow night at 8pm, located at 390 McGuinness Blvd, Brooklyn.
