Clearly they should be ticketing. I both drive and walk in the area and I know this is NY but people’s complete disregard for their own safety is astonishing. It will be a green light for me, I’ll be driving about 15-20mph and at least once a week there will be a person who without even looking or breaking stride will cross the street and look at me like I’m the asshole.
People complain about safety then cross in the middle of the block without looking or having the light. You can’t have it both ways.
