Greenpoint Gallery Night was a huge success. On such a gorgeous September evening, the turnout was huge and the buzz in the air, all in support of local art, was very inspiring.

Hyperallergic created a great photo round-up of the evening, here.

Because Greenpointers hosted our own exhibition, we couldn’t make it to many of the other shows, but here are some photos of Ugly Art Room’s “Greenpoint Now” art show at The Yard.

Andrew P. Smith, who co-curated the show and represents The Yard took a lot of awesome photos which you can view here.

If you missed the opening “Greenpoint Now” will be on display at The Yard (33 Nassau Ave) through 10/6/13. Visiting hours are Wed-Fri, 11am-5pm.

All artwork is for sale and also can be viewed on Ugly Art Room’s website.

When I was painting the sign pictured at the top, I made a little mistake, and it ended up reading, “Greenpoint MON” Art Show. DUH! Should I have just left it?
