Sunday Supper #2 was smooth sailing and an amazing night at B’s Luncheonette. There is something magical about having dinner in a place for just one night. So many people stopped in to ask hopefully whether the restaurant would be opening up. We all wish!
Chef Tony was so uber prepared, with a check list and everything. We had the right amount of plates and seating, and the ambience created with just some white christmas lights is key. Although the heat didn’t seem to be pumping, the vibes were warm and great.
The amount of food was spot on, too. The creamy iceberg wedge salad topped with bacon was incredible. The BBQ sliders with a side of home fries were delicious, and the dessert a boozy banana shake was a nice finish. What a perfect night!
That last picture is the best.
Gah! The photos are moving around. The picture of the owner is the best.
Wait, where’s the chef?
I know! I only got shots of your arms. You never stopped moving…
