This month, Mercury retrograde ends (finally!) and we get a Scorpio full moon, which means we are alive and energized–especially with our emotions. This month is all about change and listening to your body, so you know, be prepared. Change, even positive, can be hard to deal with.
This month, we have both a solar and a lunar eclipse–which means that all sorts of oppositions, conflicts, and confusions will arise. Just what you wanted right? Politically, it’s not so hard to see–and now the Jupiter-Uranus combination will keep the fire hot when it comes to these global conflicts.
That being said, some of these changes and transformations will be positive–and feel exactly like what you need.
This month is all about goals and aspirations. Now that we’re in Capricorn, matters of career, goals, ambitions are on the brain—and you’ll be focused on who you want to be in the future, and how to get there. The sun will be in Capricorn until the 19th, and Mercury will be retrograde through the 8th. This means you should hold off signing contracts or making major choices with your job–which is what the first week of the month is for.
♑ CAPRICORN ♑
With the sun going through your sign until January 19th, you’re eager for beginnings. Since Mercury is rounding out a retrograde from December 19, 2016, to January 8, 2017, which means this is a good time to start focusing on what you do what in general. It’s also going to be a very social month for you, to get ready.
December is going to be a lively and upbeat month, as the new moon in Sagittarius will be a positive change, especially fore fire signs. In general, everyone will be feeling the urge to express themselves and break down stereotypes and old-age boundaries. Essentially, this is a month of “breakthroughs,” especially when they involve conventions that are harming more than helping.
♐ SAGITTARIUS ♐
Because the Sun is in Sagittarius until December 21, it’s a time to work on your own endeavors instead of putting others first. It’s OK to be a little selfish sometimes. The December 13 Gemini full moon—which is a strong supermoon—will allow you to be introspective and reflective of your life choices. The full moon is also in your partnership zone, which could be great for your personal life and career. This is a good time to have important conversations.
November 2016 starts off in a similar way to last month, as Mars is still in Capricorn until the 9th, which means accidents and mishaps may occur at the beginning of the month, but it won’t be that bad. Sadly, since Venus takes Mars’ place on the 12th as it enters Capricorn, it creates disharmony and chaos. Your relationships will suffer from all sorts of tension. By the end of the month, however, a transformation will occur–and at this point, it is very needed.
For instance, since Jupiter and Pluto are at odds with each other, it could lead to arguments, bankruptcy, breakups, job loss, etc. It won’t be pretty. But this could also mean a fresh start for you, and for politics, for instance. Clearly, we all are in a position where we could benefit from change, so while it may be uncomfortable, it’s also good for the long run. Continue reading →
There’s a lot going on in September, so read up. There are two significant eclipses this month. On September 1, there’s a solar eclipse in Virgo, which is heralding a fresh, monumental start. Then, on September 16, the second eclipse comes in at the Pisces full moon, which signals introspection and carving out alone time.
There’s also a Mercury Retrograde from August 30 to September 21—which means there will be many miscommunications, confusions, and people coming out of the woodwork. Don’t fret, a retrograde simply causes you to re-evaluate what is working for you, and simply what isn’t—so you’ll come out stronger than before.
August ushers in the new moon in Leo on the 2nd, as well as a lunar eclipse on August 18th in Aquarius. This full moons will reveal monumental news for all the signs, giving vibrancy and energy—but also security and long-awaited results from goals. Sadly, the month does end with Mercury cycling into a retrograde in Virgo.
This means you should pay attention to the details—because you don’t want to get anything wrong, or end up misinterpreting someone’s feelings. It also means you probably want to check the train schedule, because there will definitely be delays on the L & G—or your favorite hang out spot may also be subject to close. Continue reading →
