A self-taught ceramicist, this Bushwick local designs jewelry and objects that focuses on contrasting the permanency of stoneware with the fragility of form. Avery is constantly exploring new applications for clay, drawing from of fashion and new mediums to stretch what is possible for this medium. Her work has been featured in maker’s markets throughout the country and in nylon magazine.

Since last week, there’s been a few exciting new additions including fresh music selections amplified by Supercrush Studio and curated by new music blog ALT CITIZEN, who is also joining the market to sell zines. In addition, Kettle Brands will be present to give out complimentary bags of chips to our guests!

Celebrate Spring with us on Sunday, April 26th, 2015, 1-7PM at the Greenpoint Loft (67 West St, 5th Fl).
We’ll have plenty of Strawberry Gin courtesy of Brooklyn Gin and craft beer by Greenpoint Beer & Ale on the ready for toasting throughout the day. Specially brewed for this market is “Rabbit Island,” a modern New Zealand inspired pilsner with tropical fruit notes and white grape. It was a wonderful evening at Good Yoga (73 Calyer St) for Sunday Supper #6 with Chef Brenna White of Honey and Fig. The space was perfect for seating and serving such a large supper and the food was perfectly prepared. The cocktails were generously donated and expertly prepared by Brooklyn Gin. Plus we had beer from Brooklyn Brewery!
