In North Brooklyn, a region overflowing with stellar independently owned coffee shops where the drip coffee doesn’t taste characteristically burned, it can be perplexing to see a packed Starbucks (we get it, your cousin is visiting from Connecticut and needs a white chocolate mocha frappuccino).

Now, there’s one more reason to skip the ubiquitous corporate coffee house when in Williamsburg’s main retail stretch: Vermin.

  1. Last time I went there the worker put my lid on the counter and then on my drink. She gave me the nastiest attitude when I kindly asked her to remake my drink and not touch the bottom of the lid to anything before placing it on my drink. Gosh I’m so sorry I don’t want dirty counter germs in what’s going in my body!!

    1. OMG! And along with that last lid she gave you a nasty attitude? They should also conduct a customer satifaction survey upon re-opening. Like a fresh new start kind of thing.

    2. If you’re concerned with “counter germs” you should DEFINITELY not be eating or drinking anything from anywhere.

  2. I am sad to see it closed but when they reopen they should hire staff with better attitude! I understand is busy but we don’t get anything for free either!
