The NYPD found a man disoriented and injured in Transmitter Park, but he is expected to recover.

Police officers responded to the scene around 8:23 am, on March 7, where they discovered the 53-year-old man lying on the sidewalk outside of the park.

The man was soaking wet and unable to speak. He had sustained multiple lacerations and puncture wounds to the chest and abdomen.

EMS transported the man to NYC Health + Hospitals/Bellevue.

The investigation remains ongoing.

  1. He was probably attacked by an off leash dog. The level of self entitled dog owners in Greenpoint is absurd. Pick up you dog sh*t and leash your animal, it’s the law!

        1. Ah yes, the infamous roving bands of off-leash dogs attacking and drenching the unsuspecting in the early morning hours.

          1. You must be new here. Dog owners seem to think every park is an open dog run and their personal litter box.
