Some of us are marathon runners, and some are more content to stick to the sidelines and come up with a clever sign. While I respect the former, the latter are my kind of people.
Based on my highly thorough and scientific research (i.e scrolling on TikTok and Twitter), a lot of runners mentioned that marathon crowds in Williamsburg were some of the most fun and lively along the 26.2 mile stretch. Below are some of the funniest, heartwarming, and just plain “only in NYC” moments that unfolded yesterday.
