Greenpoint Affordable Apartments at 60 Percent Area Median Income

The NYC Housing Connect affordable housing lottery website lists two new Greenpoint affordable units at 60 percent of the area median income.

There are two apartments to apply for at 133 – 135 Meserole Ave, a four-story building between McGuinness Boulevard and Manhattan Avenue; apply by September 10th.

A one-bedroom unit at $947 per month is available for one to three occupants with an annual household income between $32,469 – $57,660. A two-bedroom apartment at $1,072 per month is available for two to five occupants with an annual household income between $36,755 – $69,180.

A market-rate two bedroom apartment in the same building rented for $3,450 per month earlier this year, according to StreetEasy.

The amenities are listed as “stainless steel appliances, integrated heating and cooling, backyard (for first floor only).”
