The Newtown Creek Superfund Community Advisory Group (CAG) will be having their quarterly meeting tonight, December 16th from 6:30-8:30pm at McCarren Play Center Community Room (776 Lorimer St.). The existing agenda is set to discuss three main topics: ecological, human health, background data summary, with a Q&A to follow.
You can expect presentations led by various EPA experts, like asbestos and risk expert Chuck Nace to assess ecological risk, acting Special Projects Branch Chief Michael Sivak who’ll  assess human health risk, and Caroline Kwan, Remedial Project Manager who will discuss background data summary. Afterwards, there will be question & answer time, and the CAG will have a follow up discussion to their visioning process which started back in Feb 2015.
