LIC Flea & Food is now in its 3rd season and is bigger and better than ever. The market has the largest selection of both flea and food vendors found anywhere in Queens. Plus this year they added an All-Queens Beer Garden exclusively serving beers from Queens breweries.
Situated one block behind the iconic Pepsi-Cola sign on the Long Island City waterfront, LIC Flea is located at 5-25 46th Avenue. The market leads directly into Gantry Park and Hunters Point South Park with breathtaking Manhattan views.
Queens is known for its ethnic diversity and LIC Flea has over 40 food offerings a day including a wide variety of delicious ethnic and American cuisine from Japanese to South African to BBQ. Thrillist just named LIC Flea a “NYC Food Market That You Must Hit Up Immediately!”.
For those searching for a unique vintage find, gift or locally crafted item LIC Flea has over 40 flea vendors a day as well. It’s an eclectic mix of fashion, vintage clothing/accessories, furniture, antiques, art, crafts, jewelry, home furnishing and much more.
The All-Queens Beer Garden is the only location where you can find all these locally made beers in one location including beers from Rockaway Brewing Co, Queens Brewery, Bridge & Tunnel, Singlecut, Finback and BIGaLIC Brewing. They recently added a tasting menu so you can try each one of these artisanal beers and still be able to walk home.
This weekend the beer garden has a special Father’s Day offer to dads. Come between 11am-1pm on Saturday or 12pm-1pm on Sunday or 5-6pm on Saturday and Sunday for a FREE beer. Starting at 10am the beer garden offers a breakfast club café with coffee, tea and breakfast options.
Get a taste of what everyone has been talking about by grabbing your bike and riding across the Pulaski Bridge or hop on the East River Ferry one stop from Greenpoint to the LIC/Hunts Point terminal. LIC Flea is also easily accessible by the 7-E-M subway lines.
The LIC Flea is open every Saturday and Sunday, from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. For more info on special events and new vendors, sign up for the LIC Flea e-newsletter at LICFlea.com and follow them on Facebook, Instagram and Twitter @licflea.
