Tomorrow evening, Brooklyn Brewery will host a fundraiser for Neighbors Allied for Good Growth (NAG), during which staff from restaurants and bars all around North Brooklyn will go head to head in a shucking competition– oyster shucking, that is, along with cocktail crafting, and ladies’ arm wrestling.

NAG, in case you’re unfamiliar, is a local non-profit dedicated to affordable housing, development, and green space, among other noble causes.

Participating bars and restaurants include Brooklyn Brewery, Counting Room, Dram, Grand Ferry, Hotel Delmano, Kinfolk Studios, Brooklyn Star, Lighthouse, Nita Nita, The Richardson, Soft Spot, Teddy’s Bar & Grill, The Woods and Union Pool.

So if you have any favorite bartenders from these joints, come one, come all, to cheer on the shuck-fest that will surely ensue (pun intended).

Tickets are $75 (steep, we know, but drinks + food are included). Grab ’em here.
