It’s almost time to welcome the return of the popular Food Book Fair to Brooklyn.
Now in its third year, the event will run at the Wythe Hotel between 25th-27th April and will bring together food enthusiasts, chefs, artists and writers for a long weekend of foodie fun.
The jam-packed schedule of events will include panel discussions, book signings, a screening of new doc ‘Fed Up’, a pop-up farm for kids, a homebrew pub, special dinners, and a food book slam.
Best of all it will feature an event called Foodieodicals:A Foodie Zine Fest which will feature over 20 super-creative food publications including our very own Libby V’s amazing zine: Greenpointers Recipes Gone Wild! More about this next week but we are all very excited about seeing Libby’s work at the fair!

In advance of the Book Fair, the Wythe will be hosting a Food Book Fair Pop-up Bookstore, presented by our favorite bookstore Word. The book store will run in the Wythe lobby from April 18th through April 27th.
The bookstore will feature a host of specialist titles including the new seven-volume bible elBulli 2005-2011, which chronicles every single recipe used at the world-famous restaurant. A winning gift for the master chef in your life to help inspire a decadent Easter lunch?
The pop-up bookstore will also host a series of salon-style talks taking place the week before the Food Book Fair. Further details and tickets to these events are available here.
