03.06.14 Mixtape // We Are The Wilderness

Dark electro-pop darlings We Are The Wilderness welded together this week’s uplifting mix. Ready to get elevated?

Vocalist Shanda Woods explains:

Beats. Synths. More beats. Dreamy textures.

We are currently writing new songs for an EP to be released within the year, and we’re really inspired by heavy, textured synth sounds wrapped in the song, that have the ability to transport us to a different plane of reality. Where the synth isn’t overwhelming, but provides a much needed element to the soundscape and the beats imbue the song with infinite movement. All of these artists masterfully create a world of sounds we want to live in.

We hope our mixtape will transport you to the stratosphere. Xo

Bet you didn’t know you could reach that shelf, huh?

WATW play Cameo Gallery Sat., March 15 with Shapes on Tape and Little Anchor. Find more info on that killer show here.
