This week’s Instagam Take Over photographer is @kristiprokopiak and she is starting off strong with a Greenpoint landmark – the disco ball pharmacy.
For Kristi Prokopiak, photography has always been a passion. “From developing rolls as a kid to instagramming now, it just happens naturally,” she said.
Brooklyn and all it’s nuances inspire her photos. She told us, “I live here, so I always document the things that are unique to this borough. You won’t find vinyl siding on buildings in Chelsea, ya know?”
One of her instagram photos of pigeons on a Bushwick train platform even got picked up and published in an instagram book by Chronicle Books.
