Apparently my favorite sushi spot when I lived in Staten Island – Fushimi – is coming to Williamsburg. I can’t help but agree with New York Observer when they mention the overwhelming apocalyptic feeling…

It’s in a building to be designed by Karl Fischer – just like the one at 200 Franklin St that shares my street corner. And the Mob Wives first episode had them dishing up the dirt at Fushimi. ‘Nuff said.
