The owners of Anella and Saint Vitus are planning ANOTHER Greenpoint venture! – via Grub Street

On the heels of opening rock bar Saint Vitus, Blair Papagni of Anella e-mails to say that she and husband Josh Cohen have two new restaurants in the works. They hope to debut the first of these in August at the corner of Calyer and Franklin Streets in Greenpoint. The new place will offer a menu of “tapas, with Asian and Spanish flavors,” says Papagni. Anella is also getting a new chef, Christopher Abbamondi, who’s coming from Corton; from now until he officially starts in August, Abbamondi will be in Anella’s kitchen every Monday night cooking a special market menu.
