Vans (yes, the shoe company) have announced a free Vans House Party concert series this summer happening right here in lil old Greenpoint. The shows are happening at a warehouse on Franklin Street. There are plans for six concerts in all, but so far only the first two have been announced.
According to the New York Press: The first, featuring No Age, HEALTH and Cults, goes down on June 30. The second, with Superchunk, OFF! and Lemuria, is on July 14. Other dates include: July 29 (the only Friday show), August 4, August 18 and August 25.
You have to RSVP for each show, but they’re free and who doesn’t love Superchunk?
