Hey book lovers, here’s a save the date event just for you. Reader Bethany is organizing an all out book swap/benefit next month – BYOB: Bring Your Old Books – and wants to make sure you’re saving all your unwanted books during your spring cleaning.
The event is in Williamsburg on June 19th, but if anyone wants to donate books beforehand because they can’t make the event (or are moving, etc.), I’m allowing drop-off at my place in Greenpoint – I’ll haul them all up to Public Assembly the day of. Anyone who wants to do early donations, has questions, wants to donate a raffle prize etc. can email me [email protected]
If you’re able to come swap the day of, great! If you’d like to donate your gently used books without swapping, we’re looking for donations prior to/day of the event. Please email if you have books you would like to donate.
Also, if you know a business who wants to donate a raffle prize or books please let us know!
