Coming home from my friends this afternoon I passed by the old Dutch Dairy (762 Manhattan Avenue) and finally saw some life in the store. I mean, that space has been closed under scaffolding for as long as I can remember.
I had my hands full and couldn’t snap a pic but it was a well lit shop with lots and lots of aisles of bright white shelving. Looked like either a book store or even more so like a video game store. Update 1/18/11 at 2:45pm: Got an email from reader Nadine who heard it’s going to be a GNC.
Hmmm, they have GNC’s in both Rite Aid locations on the avenue so maybe they’re looking to have a stand alone store. From what I saw, a GNC certainly fits the layout with the shelves.
