Friends of the Greenpoint Library have put out a call to artists either living or working in the GPT to donate pieces to be sold for the benefit of the Greenpoint Branch of the Brooklyn Public library.
The Show will be held on October 4th from 11am to 3pm at the Greenpoint Library. Works will be sold for $25 each and will be judged by a panel of local gallery owners. Those interested in submitting can email thefriendsofgreenpointlibrary@gmail.com for more info. Submissions are due Friday September 26.

I went last year — a compelling collection of art/artists — I bought a small painting and contributed a piece of art, as well. This is a wonderful little event in our community! And it supports our library!! How can you miss?
