CONTRIBUTORS WANTED – MEET WED. 1/2

Greenpointers.com is seeking writers and photographers for 2013. If you love Greenpoint and write/photograph in the areas of local news, art, music, food, fashion, environment, politics, history, events – then considering becoming a contributor.

Meet with old and new contributors Wednesday, January 2nd, 2012, 7pm at Spritzenhaus (33 Nassau Ave). Our weekly Wednesday meetings (not mandatory) are a fun time to talk about ideas, drink beer and meet other talented Greenpointers.

Until recently all contributions have been made on a volunteer basis. Contributors take advantage of the high volume of traffic and are encouraged to link to their own websites and promote their projects.

In 2013, we began a Writer’s Fund with donations from readers and supporters. Our goal is to raise $5000 in order to compensate contributors for 3-4 posts/week @ $20 per post. As such, not all contributions can be compensated, but it’s a start. Read more or donate here.
