If you’ve eaten out on Grand Street this week, you’d have noticed it is Grand Street Restaurant Week once again! Unlike the regular Restaurant Week, Grand Street’s lets the restaurant set the price. This means you can have a two-course lunch special for $9-$15, and three-course dinner for $12-$30. To sweeten the deal, Grand Street BID is throwing an Instagram contest where the best photo wins a $50 gift card. And who couldn’t use a (basically free) $50. My Mom and I have a thing – it’s called Restaurant Week, and whenever it rolls around I am mixed with excitement but also dread because I only take the subway to Manhattan to get my teeth pulled and otherwise avoid it at all costs.
We have everything we need right here in Brooklyn (except my dentist, apparently) and now the first-ever Grand Street Restaurant Week is happening this Monday, February 17 through Sunday, February 23rd.
