Thanks for coming out to our Fall Market this past Saturday to support local shopping, artists and craftsmanship! It was such a wonderful day and we had such a blast.
Thanks to all our talented vendors who worked so hard to bring their beautiful work for all of us to enjoy. Thanks to our sponsors Brooklyn Brewery, Sailor Jerry and Cafe Grumpy for providing the refreshments. We especially enjoyed the empanadas from Cafecito Bogota and sweet treats from Ovenly. Thanks to Marofoto and Yucca for the great photos and to Yana and Jon for working tirelessly to make it all happen. Thanks to From the Source for providing the space.
This photo pretty much sums up the awesomeness of our market this past Saturday!
Not only will you be able to shop and eat locally at our Fall Market tomorrow – but you can get your nails did, your relaxation on and a shot in our photo booth!
Come with your nails filed and polished (THINK RASTA COLORS – red, yellow, green or black) and Jessica will show you how to trick them out with a fancy fade. (See video) *note this is not a full manicure – so come neat and nails painted.
Valentine's Market 2013 Photo Booth
All day burn your image into the history of Greenpointers Markets with a Photo Booth by Marofoto! Pets welcome.
[email protected] will be in the house from noon-4pm giving complimentary chair massages and body assessments which determine your body fat, your lean muscle mass and how many calories you’re burning per day. Get that out of the way BEFORE you eat an empanada!
(Save the date for [email protected]’s Mad Hatter’s Howling Moon Tea Party on Friday – 10/18, a special evening of costumed revelry, fitness feasting, “Tricked Out Treats Potluck Contest,” detox tonics & libations, intoxicating live music & fancy footing under the Mad, Full Moon!)
Our first ever Fall Market is fast approaching. We are so excited to introduce you to so many talented local creators this Saturday 10/12 from noon-6pm at From The Source (69 West St). RSVP
I was personally very upset when I discovered Dinosaurus. Their awesome dinosaur hoodies remind me of my nerdy childhood days at the Natural History Museum where I nicknamed my favorite Brontosaurus “Joshua” and we remained long time friends (until I hit 4th grade and realized it was weird to talk to an animatronic dinosaur). The point is, I’m upset that these hoodies didn’t exist in the 80s. Because I would have rocked them.
The good news is, it’s not too late for the little people (kids)! With Halloween right around the corner, the timing could not be better. We’re thrilled to have Dinosaurus as a vendor at this year’s Fall Market on 10/12.
In preparation, we asked founder, Alexander Perrelli, to give us the inside scoop. Continue reading →
It’s like they knew Greenpointers HQ was moving to 67 West St and that we want to obviously meet every tenant in the building – and have some happy hour cocktails, of course!

We are also looking for fun ideas for activities, decorating the space, sponsorships and volunteers.

Deadline to pay for table (if accepted): September 8, 2013
Spring is in the air! Birds are chirping, coats are coming off, and we’re all dreading the necessary (yet evil!) spring cleaning. Instead of going full-throttle into organization mode, how about buying something to give your apartment that much-needed facelift? Our local shops have plenty of home decor options at a variety of price points that are sure to help your abode get out of it’s winter rut. And now that it’s warm enough to paint outside, try investing in a fixer upper/game changer that just needs a little TLC. (Try not to use aerosol paint.)
While we were spray painting beer bottles in a blizzard to adorn the back wall of From The Source for our Valentine’s Market on Saturday, I said to the crew, “it doesn’t matter how it looks, nobody is going to see it anyway.” So much for encouragement and optimism!
Our vendors fought the snow and ice and set up their lovely tables and just as noon struck the sun came out and all our wonderful Greenpointers friends miraculously showed up for a truly magical day.
These stackable antique metal chairs are the perfect “usable” home accent piece. They come in a variety of colors and not one is the same as the other. This ups the unique-ness factor.
Come by the showroom and warehouse (69 West Street) and check out other unique, antique and reclaimed gift itemsthat From The Source offers!
