TASTE is back for its 10th anniversary! The TASTE Williamsburg Greenpoint Festival will take place on Sunday, September 15 from 1–4 PM at East River State Park (90 Kent Ave) in Williamsburg.
TASTE Williamsburg Greenpoint is a celebration of North Brooklyn’s local flavor, benefitting the Firehouse North Brooklyn Community Center. Now in its 10th year (!), the block party style tasting event will return to the scenic Williamsburg waterfront, bringing the neighborhood’s top restaurants, bars and independent merchants together with over 2,000 attendees to eat and drink for a great cause.
Confirmed restaurant and bar participants to date include Tacocina, Leuca, Barano, Lighthouse, Zona Rosa, Baba’s Pierogies and more, with more to be announced in the coming weeks.
Ticket sales will begin today via Eventbrite, here. Early bird tickets will start at $50 for general admission (8 food ‘tastes’ and all you can drink beverages), and VIP tickets start at $100 for all you can eat and drink, with early access to the event, and a gifting lounge with seating.
Proceeds from the event will once again go to benefit the Firehouse North Brooklyn Community Center, located in the former Engine 212 Firehouse at 134 Wythe Avenue, which is working to re-open as a crucial hub for the local community. After several years of successful fundraising towards the $2.8M goal, the project is nearly fully funded, with just $250,000 to go, and entering into the construction phase. Eat up while supporting a good cause!
From frozen treats made with upcycled plant based materials, custom handcrafted guitars, ethereal essential oil blends, to tiny terrarium jewelry, and more, we can’t wait to showcase the high quality unique creations by our top 20 curated pick of local makers.

The festival not only tastes great, it supports a great cause. TASTE Williamsburg Greenpoint is produced by The Firehouse North Brooklyn Community Center (formerly known as Northside Town Hall), an organization “working to renovate and operate the former Engine Co. 212 Firehouse for Community activity. The Firehouse will provide a permanent home to neighborhood social justice organizations for continued advocacy and direct services to Williamsburg and Greenpoint. The Firehouse fosters civic and cultural engagement with original arts programming and community gatherings.” Other community organizations, like North Brooklyn Angles, a coalition of neighbors helping neighbors fight food and housing insecurity, and Billion Oyster Project, a harbor restoration and citizen science organization, also made it to the fest.
As the festival got underway amid sunny skies, live music and games, booze was flowing and bites were flying off the shelf. Some restaurants even ran out of food before the festival was over. Scroll down for a look at some of the fabulous food, drink, and local purveyors in attendance!
The Williamsburg Wine Bash benefits The Fire House North Brooklyn Community Center, which is close to raising enough funds to create a community center that will host cultural programming, exhibitions, events and classes. It will also be home to Neighbors Allied for Good Growth (NAG) and The People’s Firehouse (PFI), two organizations that serve the Greenpoint/Williamsburg community with grassroots organizing, advocacy, outreach/education on environmental justice, affordable housing development, tenant services, and more.
