Formerly a rubber factory, BIBA is now home to an original beer hall that leads out into an outdoor patio that borders the East River State Park. With vintage charm and spectacular views of the NYC skyline, we are expecting thousands of visitors to come celebrate the local community around creativity, food, and drink!
We are looking for beautifully designed, high quality, handcrafted goods of the recycled, upcycled, ethically produced, environmentally friendly variety. Sound like you? Apply here or down at the bottom of this post.
Fall is teetering upon us and its fresh crisp air is a welcome change from our mellow Greenpoint summer. We are so excited to get some of the most talented local makers again for another fun filled day at the Greenpoint Loft on Sunday, October, 30 2016 for an Urban Spookfest themed market!
Creative entrepreneurs and makers of food, art, crafts, jewelry, pottery, etc. – you know who you are – sign up with us to join one of the most enjoyable selling experiences in New York City. Apply here or directly in the form after the jump.
The Greenpointers Markets started in 2011 and has been growing ever since. The last Fall Market had around 2,000 visitors and the Holiday Market had over 4,000! It’s a low-risk way to get your product or business in front of thousands of visitors and spend a day of local shopping, activities, and music in one of the most beautiful spaces in Brooklyn. We are busy bees getting ready for our upcoming Spring Market onSunday, April 17th (1-7PM) and can’t wait to strip off a few layers of winter bitterness to take in the sweet nectar of Greenpoint life in this season, when cherry trees are bursting with blooms, daffodils and tulips start to pop out of sidewalk gardens, and we spend more time at the park or in backyard beer gardens.
Did you know that the Greenpoint Loft was once the home of the largest rope manufacturer in the U.S.? It has been beautifully restored to its pre-war glory and we can’t wait to see it come alive with old-timey tunes, FREE fun activities, food & refreshments, music, and epic local shopping.
I don’t remember the point at which the simple days of working on a wishlist of gifts in the days leading up the the holidays were over. All I know is this time of year hasn’t exactly been a time to kick back and relax for a long time. As much as I love shopping for gifts and the festivities surrounding it, it’s time consuming and takes a lot of work. Add to it, work on putting together a massive market, and you are going to want to look for some short cuts. But since we’ve set a high bar on creative seasonal cocktails that are served at the markets, we didn’t want to dilute quality either. Continue reading →
