Do you have a camera (smartphone cameras ok) and like to walk around the neighborhood (Greenpoint & Williamsburg)? Are you extremely organized and detailed-oriented? Do you want to contribute to the community and support local in a positive way?
We are looking for individuals who can cover one or more sections of North Brooklyn and do the following tasks:
- Walk up and down the street and snap a photo of every commercial storefront within a specified region
- Name each photo following a specified format
- Upload photos in a Google Drive
- Document each photo file on a Google Sheet
There are 19 sections in total and completion of each section is paid thanks to the generation donations from our community.
In support of the North Brooklyn COVID-19 Local Business Impact Project, we aim to capture every storefront in North Brooklyn and understand how the pandemic has impacted the landscape of our neighborhood’s streets.
